Ultrasonic Sensors
Ultrasonic sensors provide reliable, non-contact detection of solid, liquid, granular or powdered materials in air, tolerating precipitation, humidity, dust and fumes, objects with critical surfaces and other highly transparent objects. As its name suggests, ultrasonic sensor uses ultrasonic waves to measure distance. Typical uses are checking the presence of highly transparent foils and measuring the filling levels in liquid containers. Ultrasonic sensors are available in cylindrical (M12, M18, M30) or cubical (32x20x12mm) housing with up to 6m (19.69ft) sensing distance.
